Ukrzaliznytsia Announces Route Change for Train Warsaw – Kyiv Due to Technical Reasons

Passengers of train No. 68/67 “Warsaw – Kyiv” have been informed about important changes to the route due to technical difficulties. As a result, today’s service from Warsaw will include an additional transfer.

How Passenger Transportation Will Be Conducted

After boarding at the “Warsaw-Wschodnia” station, passengers should take their seats in any of the three specially prepared cars of InterCity train No. 12010. Seats can be chosen in any order, allowing for the avoidance of crowding and ensuring comfort during the journey.

In the city of Lublin, passengers in cars 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 will need to transfer to train No. 68/67 “Warsaw – Kyiv,” which departs directly to the capital of Ukraine. Meanwhile, passengers in the 4th car will continue their journey on InterCity train No. 12010 to the “Chełm” station. There, an additional car No. 16 will be waiting for them, which will be attached to train No. 20 “Chełm – Kyiv,” and they will travel to Kyiv in this car.

Passenger Support and Compensation

The train crew will be constantly available to assist passengers with the transfer, guide them on how to find their designated seats, and ensure proper service throughout the journey.

‎Today’s service from Warsaw will proceed with minor changes – due to technical reasons, there will be an additional transfer,‎ the company’s statement reads.

To compensate for the inconvenience, each passenger has already been credited with 1000 “hugs.”
