Recommendations for consumers regarding electricity use
Company representatives urge citizens to use electricity wisely, especially during the evening hours from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, when the load on the energy system increases. Ukrenergo recommends shifting the use of high-power electrical appliances and energy-intensive processes to daytime hours, specifically from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Such measures will help ensure the stability of the energy system.
Current situation in the energy system
As of the morning of May 8, due to attacks from the Russian Federation, power outages were recorded for some consumers in four regions of Ukraine. However, energy workers are actively working to restore power supply and maintain stable network operation.
