Recommendations for electricity consumption

The company recommends that citizens plan the use of energy-intensive appliances during the daytime, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In the evening hours from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, residents are advised to limit the use of high-power electrical equipment to reduce the load on the country’s energy system.

“The company urges to shift energy-intensive processes to daytime hours – from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while in the evening hours – from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM – to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances.”

State of the electricity sector in Ukraine

Currently, energy workers have managed to restore an additional 1 GW of capacity from thermal power plants out of the planned 3.8 GW. This allows meeting the population’s electricity needs even during peak consumption hours and reduces the risk of emergency situations in the network.
