As of this morning, passenger trains on the Odesa and Dnipro routes are also delayed, and some services are operating on altered routes. Currently, 20 reserve locomotives have been engaged. Dispatchers have stopped some trains at a safe distance from the impact zone to ensure the safety of passengers and crews.
International Connections and Suburban Train Operations
Ukrzaliznytsia reported coordination with foreign railway operators in Przemyśl and Chełm to facilitate transfers, organize train waiting, and expedite border control.
Due to damage to energy infrastructure as a result of enemy shelling, particularly in the Kirovohrad region, the operation of suburban trains has been altered. Some services have been canceled, while others have been redirected via alternative routes. Passengers are urged to follow the company’s updates regarding schedule changes.
