According to the results of the first half of 2025, the volume of service exports from Ukraine amounted to $7.617 billion, which is 10.9% less compared to the same period last year. Despite the overall decline, the IT sector continues to increase its share in the structure of service exports.

Growth of IT Services Share in Ukraine’s Exports
The share of IT services in total service exports rose from 38.5% ($3.291 billion) in the first half of 2024 to 43% ($3.276 billion) in the first six months of 2025. Among all telecommunications, computer, and information services, computer services traditionally hold the largest share.
During January to June 2025, the export of computer services reached $3.210 billion, which is 0.1% more than in the same period of the previous year.

Main Importing Countries of Ukrainian IT Services
The main destinations for Ukrainian IT service exports remain the USA, the United Kingdom, Malta, Cyprus, Israel, Switzerland, Germany, and Estonia. The largest volume of services is exported to the USA – $1.135 billion, although this is 6.41% less than last year. In second place is the United Kingdom ($283 million, an increase of 0.65%), followed by Malta ($281 million, +10.82%) and Cyprus ($231 million, +31.09%).

The Ukrainian IT sector demonstrates resilience and partially compensates for the decline in exports of other types of services, maintaining a key role in the structure of the national economy.
