Details of the operation and targets of the strike

According to the commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, the attack was carried out by the forces of the 9th battalion “Kairros” of the 414th separate brigade “Madyar’s Birds” in cooperation with units of the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine. Coordination was provided by the newly established Deep Strike Center of the UAV Forces. The targets were two main buildings: a training complex with an area of 2600 sq. m and a temporary deployment point for Russian troops with an area of 5700 sq. m.

“The training center was fully occupied by artillery spotter operators, operators of other UAVs, instructors, and officer staff managing the center. The fleet of vehicles present at the location at one time reached up to 30 units of passenger vehicles,” Brovdi noted.

The operation was accompanied by at least 15 strikes from middle strike drones equipped with a warhead weighing 100 kilograms. Video recordings from the scene show precise hits on the targets, as well as explosions that were heard at a significant distance from the front line – over 90 km.

Residents of Khrustalny reported a mass appearance of drones in the sky and loud explosions. Local Telegram channels actively discussed the consequences of the shelling, as well as the potential responsibility for publishing videos and photos from the scene. Numerous recordings of drone flights and explosions captured by eyewitnesses appeared online.

The occupying administration of Luhansk region warned the population about criminal liability for disseminating materials regarding the actions of the Ukrainian defense forces or the consequences of strikes on Russian military facilities.
