Export Development and Strategic Partnership

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine noted that despite the war, massive missile strikes, and attempts by the Russian Federation to block export routes, since 2022 Ukraine has managed to export 66 million tons of grain to countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, with a total value exceeding $13 billion. Accordingly, over 40% of Ukraine’s grain exports are directed to these regions, confirming their strategic importance for Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

Focus on Innovation and Joint Projects

Ukraine is gradually transitioning from a raw material export model to cooperation in the fields of processing industry, logistics, development of green energy, and implementation of digital technologies. The largest agricultural partners of Ukraine in these regions are China, Egypt, Indonesia, Algeria, and Tunisia. Conference participants emphasized that deepening interaction with Global South countries opens new opportunities for expanding trade, investment activities, and humanitarian cooperation between states.
