Most Expensive Assets of the Week
The most expensive lot turned out to be the “Scientific and Technical Center ‘Plasmotron’ of the E. Paton Institute of Electric Welding of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” in Kyiv. It was contested by 19 participants, which allowed the price of the lot to rise from ₴65,500 to an impressive ₴16 million.
An important asset was also a business complex in Kirovohrad region, which was sold for ₴11.2 million, confirming the growing interest of investors in privatization proposals.
Plans for the Future
This week, 18 new privatization auctions are scheduled, including the “Chernivtsi Radio Technical Plant” and the “Center for International Programs of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” in Kyiv.
However, due to non-compliance with privatization conditions, specifically unpaid debts, the Rivne Automobile Repair Plant, which was previously part of Ukroboronprom, has been returned to state ownership. Additionally, Afina Group has expressed interest in participating in the auction for the sale of the “Vinnytsiapobutkhim” plant, the facilities of which have been used in the company’s production chain for the last two years.
