Lelѐka – Ukraine’s Representative at Eurovision 2026
In February, a national selection took place, during which the singer Lelѐka received the maximum number of points – both from the audience and from the professional jury, each giving 10 points. Thanks to this victory, Lelѐka will represent Ukraine at Eurovision in Vienna. The song “Ridnym” will be our country’s competition entry this year. The contest will be held in Vienna this time after the Austrian singer JJ won in 2025.
Among the leaders in the rankings, both according to bookmakers and fan opinions, are representatives from Finland – the duo of Linda Lampenius and Pita Parkkonen.
- The participation of Russian model Irina Shayk as co-host of the third evening of the Sanremo music festival sparked a wave of criticism among Italians.
- The Spanish broadcaster is calling for radical changes to Eurovision rules, insisting on a ban on participation for countries in a state of armed conflict to reduce political influence on the contest.
