Opportunities for Drone Developers
Developers are allowed to submit only one application for one project, but repeated funding is possible if the development is improved. Within one budget year, participants can receive up to five grants totaling up to 30 million UAH.
“Developers will be able to receive a grant of up to ₴8 million for creating innovative systems capable of extinguishing fires in the most dangerous and hard-to-reach places.”
International Cooperation in the Drone Sector
Ukraine and Norway have signed an official document for the joint production of Ukrainian drones. The launch of a pilot production line in Norway is scheduled for 2026, with plans to scale up production to meet the growing needs of both countries.
At the same time, the German company Quantum Systems, which already has production facilities in Ukraine and supplies UAVs to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has attracted 180 million euros in investments. The funds raised will be directed towards increasing production and developing counter-drone systems. The company’s valuation exceeded 3 billion euros following this investment.
