In Japan, police have detained two US citizens who illegally entered the macaque enclosure at the Ichikawa City Zoo, located near Tokyo. The incident occurred in the enclosure housing a 9-month-old macaque named Punch. The detainees are suspected of obstructing the operation of the facility, but they deny any wrongdoing.

Zoo Incident Linked to Just a Memecoin
Investigators found that 24-year-old student Reed Jahnai Deisun climbed over the fence, entering the enclosure with approximately 50 macaques. Accompanying him was 27-year-old singer Neil Jabahri Duan, who was likely filming the event. Footage from the scene captured a person wearing a mask featuring a smiling emoji and dressed in a blue suit. This image is associated with the Just a Memecoin (MEMECOIN), which operates on the Solana blockchain.

The presence of an outsider caused the macaques to scatter and hide at the top of an artificial rock in the enclosure. The intruder was quickly removed from the area by zoo staff, and later the administration reported that no animals were harmed. For safety reasons, additional protective nets have been installed, and patrols around Punch’s enclosure have been intensified.
Memecoin Does Not Respond to Incident, Team to Donate Funds to Zoo
The team behind Just a Memecoin announced plans to donate 1 million yen (approximately 7,000 US dollars) to the Ichikawa Zoo to improve animal living conditions. Despite the widespread attention, the price of the MEMECOIN token has remained stable, with its market capitalization currently around 13 million dollars.
