In Ukraine, the cost of tuition in higher education institutions on a contractual basis significantly increased throughout 2025. While some universities maintained last year’s prices, most raised the tuition fees by 10–20% or even more.

Highest Prices in Leading Universities
Among the leaders in terms of tuition costs is the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv. Specifically, the specialties “Law” and “Psychology” at this institution will cost students 147 thousand hryvnias per year. Meanwhile, at IT STEP University (also in Lviv), the most expensive specialties are “Marketing” and “Computer Science” – each costing 137 thousand UAH per year. Lviv University of Business and Law set the highest price for “Journalism” – 89.9 thousand hryvnias per year. At the same time, at this university, the tuition for “Law”, “Finance”, “Tourism”, and “International Relations” remained at 45 thousand hryvnias.
Tuition Costs in Leading Universities in Kyiv and Regions
At the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the tuition for “Computer Science” costs 100 thousand hryvnias (up from 95 thousand in 2024), “Law” – 90 thousand (up from 89.3 thousand), “Marketing” and “Management” – 75 thousand (up from 68 thousand in 2024), “English Philology” – 74 thousand (last year it was 66.2 thousand), “Economics” and “Finance” – 72 thousand (up from 64 and 63 thousand respectively), and “Psychology” and “Journalism” – each costing 65 thousand (up from 57.8 and 63.1 thousand in 2024).
At Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the fee for “International Commerce” increased to 95.6 thousand hryvnias (up from 70 thousand), “Marketing” and “Management” – 79 thousand (up from 54 thousand in 2024), “Finance” – 78.2 thousand (up from 50.9 thousand in 2024), “Journalism” – 76.6 thousand (up from 58.9 thousand in 2024), “International Law” and “International Economic Relations” – 76 thousand (up from 66.6 thousand in 2024), and “Tourism” – 76 thousand (up from 50.9 thousand in 2024).
At the Kyiv University of Market Relations, the price for “Law” is 40.5 thousand hryvnias (up from 30.5 thousand), and “Finance”, “Marketing”, and “Management” are each 38.5 thousand (up from 28.5 thousand last year).
Vinnytsia National Technical University raised the tuition for “Management” and “Marketing” to 38 thousand hryvnias (up from 26.8 thousand in 2024), while for “Cybersecurity” and “Computer Science” it is now 30.5 thousand (up from 26.8 thousand in 2024).
At the Academy of Labor, Social Relations, and Tourism, the tuition for “Law”, “Finance”, “Marketing”, and “Management” costs 33.6 thousand hryvnias (up from 22 thousand in 2024).
Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics, and Law offers “Law” and “Tourism” for 32 thousand hryvnias (up from 18 thousand in 2024), “Marketing” – 29.5 thousand (up from 15.3 thousand in 2024), and “Management” – 26 thousand hryvnias (up from 15.3 thousand in 2024).
At the Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine”, the tuition for “Journalism”, “Law”, and “Computer Science” is 30 thousand hryvnias, while for “Marketing” it is 27.5 thousand.
Mykolaiv National Agrarian University set the tuition for the specialties “Management”, “Economics”, “Tourism”, “Finance”, and “Computer Science” at 44 thousand hryvnias per year, while for “Psychology” it is 35.2 thousand.
