According to the new rules, mopeds and motorcycles (with the exception of motorcycles with sidecars, motorized wheelchairs, and three-wheeled vehicles) can travel in the lane designated for public transport vehicles, alongside the general traffic flow.
“Changes have been made to the Traffic Rules. Mopeds and motorcycles are now allowed to use the lane for public transport vehicles,” emphasized Melnychuk.
Additionally, the informational and directional signs 5.8 “Road with a Lane for Public Transport Vehicles” and 5.11 “Lane for Public Transport Vehicles” have been clarified. These innovations aim to improve road safety and enhance the viability of motor vehicles in Ukraine.
