Top 10 Trade Partners of Ukraine Among European Countries in 2025

As of the end of August 2025, Poland remains Ukraine’s main trade partner among European countries. During this period, the volume of Ukrainian exports to Poland amounted to $3.264 billion, while imports of Polish goods into Ukraine reached $5.014 billion.

Leading Countries by Volume of Ukrainian Exports

Germany ranked second among Ukraine’s largest partners in Europe, with exports to this country totaling $1.530 billion, and imports from Germany reaching $4.240 billion. Among other leading countries for Ukrainian product exports in 2025:

  • Italy — $1.417 billion
  • Netherlands — $1.285 billion
  • Spain — $1.204 billion
  • Romania — $929.9 million
  • Hungary — $870.1 million
  • Moldova — $732.2 million
  • Bulgaria — $687.5 million
  • Czech Republic — $640.7 million
  • France — $513.8 million
  • United Kingdom — $414.7 million
  • Portugal — $67.4 million
  • Iceland — $1.8 million (the lowest figure among European countries)

Dynamics of Goods Imports from European Countries

In addition to Poland and Germany, significant import volumes were recorded from countries such as Italy — $1.666 billion, Czech Republic — $1.514 billion, Slovakia — $1.452 billion, France — $1.324 billion, and United Kingdom — $944.3 million. The least amount of goods imported by Ukraine came from Malta ($6.5 million) and Belarus ($3 million).

Over the eight months of the year, Ukraine exported goods worth $3.264 billion to Poland. Meanwhile, the volume of imports from Poland was significantly higher — $5.014 billion.”
