The State Property Fund of Ukraine has announced an auction for the sale of the state share package of the Public Joint Stock Company “Titanium Institute”. The starting price of the package is 99.77 million UAH, and the auction is scheduled for August 12.

Titanium Institute — a unique enterprise for Europe
The “Titanium Institute” is the only research and design institution in Europe specializing in the production of titanium, magnesium, and primary non-ferrous metallurgy. The enterprise carries out a full cycle of research and design work related to the extraction of rare earth metals, including gallium, germanium, zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, tantalum, niobium, and others. The structure of the institute also includes the Zaporizhzhia Metallurgical Research and Production Plant, which is engaged in the production of titanium powders and products made from them.
“Titanium Institute” is the only comprehensive research and design institution in Europe in the field of titanium and magnesium production, and primary non-ferrous metallurgy.
Privatization of EnergoStal and sale of the auto repair plant
In addition, the State Property Fund has put the Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Center of the Metallurgical Industry “EnergoStal” located in Kharkiv up for privatization. This state enterprise specialized in the design, reconstruction, and modernization of facilities in the mining and metallurgical complex and machine engineering. The auction for this facility will also take place on August 12, with a starting price of 10.47 million UAH. Currently, “EnergoStal” is not conducting any economic activities.
Recently, the sale of the “Kyiv Auto Repair Plant” was also completed. It was sold for 123 million UAH to the company “Inter Food 2020”, while the starting price was 44.24 million UAH. The buyer is required to pay an additional 24.6 million UAH in value-added tax, resulting in a total economic effect from the transaction exceeding 147.9 million UAH. The plant’s office is located in Kyiv, near the “Beresteyska” metro station and Nyvky Park.
