Details of Grant Distribution
According to the published information, out of the total number of approved grants, 140 will be awarded to industrial enterprises for the purchase of new production equipment. Another 14 grants have been allocated to farms for the development of horticulture and the construction of modern greenhouses. The application process for grants is ongoing, allowing entrepreneurs in various regions to participate in the initiative.
“This year, producers have already submitted 140 applications for grants for the development and restoration of processing enterprises totaling 865 million UAH. Of these, 6 are for the restoration of production facilities that were damaged as a result of Russian shelling,” said Svyrydenko.
Participants in the programs include companies operating in the food industry, construction materials manufacturing, clothing, metal structures, glass, printing, aircraft, and the production of plastic and wooden products. It is anticipated that thanks to the new grants, businesses will be able to create about 1400 new jobs. The funds are primarily directed towards purchasing equipment for production modernization.
Support for the Agricultural Sector and Grant Conditions
This year, special attention has been paid to supporting farmers: the first grants for orchards and greenhouses in 2026 have been approved – 14 projects totaling 51.5 million UAH. It is expected that these funds will soon begin to flow to communities, promoting the development of horticulture, berry farming, viticulture, and greenhouse farming. Plans are in place to establish new orchards and construct greenhouse complexes, which will increase the production of vegetables and fruits and strengthen local economies.
Overall, since the start of the programs for the development and restoration of domestic production, nearly 1400 grants totaling 6.7 billion UAH have been issued. The maximum grant amount for development is up to 8 million UAH, while for restoration it is up to 16 million UAH. A mandatory condition is co-financing: generally 50% to 50%, and if Ukrainian equipment is purchased – 70% to 30%. It is also necessary to create at least five jobs within the project.
In 2026, the state budget allocates 465 million UAH for the ‘Made in Ukraine’ program. For enterprises in frontline or liberated regions, the state may cover up to 80% of project implementation costs.
Applications for participation in the program can be submitted through the Diia portal. As of March 2, Ukraine officially launched the acceptance of applications from entrepreneurs seeking grant support for the development or restoration of their business within the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy.
