Growing Investor Interest in Tether
Paolo Ardoino noted that Tether has already reached 99% profitability and requires almost no external capital. However, the company is attracting significant attention from potential investors. Among the interested parties are major investment firms such as SoftBank and Ark Invest.
“We have been approached by a huge number of companies wanting to invest in us. We need to draw a line by determining a valuation that we consider too low,” he said.
Plans for the Launch of the New USAT Stablecoin
Tether also announced preparations for the launch of a new stablecoin called USAT, aimed at the US market. According to Ardoino, this decision is related to the fact that the Trump administration is showing a more favorable stance towards the development of the cryptocurrency industry in the country.
Previously, the CEO of Tether had already announced the launch of a tool for creating crypto wallets, highlighting the company’s active development in the field of modern financial technologies.
