Comments from the Swedish Government
“Sweden supports Ukraine through the World Bank. As winter approaches, we are further increasing our support for the World Bank’s Trust Fund for aid, recovery, reconstruction, and reforms in Ukraine (URTF) by 35 million euros. This is to meet the most urgent needs, strengthen Ukraine’s resilience, and aid its recovery,” stated the foreign ministry.
The support provided by Sweden will be a crucial component in ensuring stability and overcoming the consequences of Russian aggression, especially during the winter period when humanitarian and energy challenges for Ukraine significantly increase.
