The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, reported significant progress in the work on the agreement with the USA regarding mineral resources. The agreement will be subject to ratification by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and will create opportunities for investment and development in the country.

Svyrydenko noted in her Facebook post:
“A positive new step with the United States regarding the economic partnership agreement and the establishment of an investment fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Our technical teams have worked thoroughly together on the agreement – there is substantial progress, and the lawyers have made the right points in the draft agreement; I thank the negotiators on both teams.”
The Minister also mentioned that there is currently an agreement with the American side to formalize this positive outcome in a corresponding memorandum of intent. The formalization of the agreement is expected to be completed soon.
“The teams will continue to work on specific points in the agreement; much has already been developed, and the level of the agreement should be sufficiently high,”
Svyrydenko emphasized.
She highlighted that the agreement will create conditions for significant economic growth for both Ukraine and the USA, opening new horizons for investment.
