After resuming control over drug prices, the State Consumer Service conducted 776 inspections. As a result of these measures, administrative and economic sanctions were imposed on violators totaling 1.8 million hryvnias.

According to the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, one of the main priorities during the state of martial law is to create an effective system for price control and to curb inflation in the pharmaceutical market. These inspections were conducted as part of this strategy, along with appropriate measures taken against violators.
Administrative Fines and Inspector Recommendations
Officials of companies that violated pricing regulations were fined a total of 163.7 thousand hryvnias. Inspectors also issued 78 directives to rectify identified violations in drug pricing, requiring that the cost of medications be brought into compliance with current legislation.
Citizen Complaints
In total, the State Consumer Service received 1239 complaints from citizens regarding inflated drug prices. The highest number of such complaints was recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv.
