Restoration of the Druzhba Pipeline
Slovak Minister of Economy Denisa Sakova reported that the Ukrainian side is already increasing pressure in the pipeline and filling it from the Belarus side. This indicates a gradual return to the normal mode of raw material transportation, which is crucial for Slovakia’s energy stability.
“According to reports from Ukrtransnafta, pressure and filling of the Druzhba pipeline on the Ukrainian side from Belarus began this morning. It is expected that pumping and supply to Slovakia will be restored tomorrow (April 23) morning,” she wrote on Facebook.

The Druzhba pipeline is an important route for oil supply to Central European countries. Its restoration will help avoid disruptions in energy resource supply and strengthen the energy security of the region. Ukraine plays a key role in the transit of energy resources, ensuring supply stability for its neighbors.
