In April 2026, the Ukrainian market for passenger cars with gasoline engines shows a noticeable increase: 13.6 thousand such cars were added to the country’s fleet. This is 15% more than in the same period last year.

Dynamics of new and used car sales
In April of this year, 2.4 thousand new gasoline passenger cars were registered, which is 12% higher than the figure for April 2025. At the same time, the demand for used cars with gasoline engines also increased: their number reached 11.2 thousand, which is 16% more than in April last year.

Most popular models among new and used cars
Among new models with gasoline engines, the most popular are the HYUNDAI Tucson (182 units), BMW 3 (132 units), MAZDA CX5 (130 units), SKODA Karoq (123 units), and SUZUKI SX4 (116 units).
Among imported used gasoline cars, the sales leaders were the VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan (730 units), VOLKSWAGEN Golf (692 units), NISSAN Rogue (612 units), AUDI Q5 (605 units), and AUDI A4 (352 units).
In total, in April 2026, about 6.2 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 3% more than in the same period last year. At the same time, the market for used passenger cars imported from abroad saw a slight decline: in April, 19.6 thousand such cars were registered, which is 5% less than in April 2025.
