As a result of the massive attacks by the Russian Federation on May 26, three energy facilities belonging to the DTEK Group in the Dnipropetrovsk region were damaged. Consequently, 63 settlements located in the frontline areas of the region were left without electricity.

“Yesterday, three energy facilities of the company were damaged due to enemy strikes. 63 settlements in the frontline areas of the region were left without electricity,” the statement said.

According to energy workers, no employees were injured during the shelling. Restoration work began immediately after the security situation stabilized. Specialists are working to restore electricity supply to the affected communities as quickly as possible.

Situation with electricity supply

Over the past two days, energy workers have managed to restore electricity supply for more than 33 thousand families in Dnipropetrovsk. However, due to new attacks from Russia, as of the morning of May 27, some consumers in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions remain without power.

Energy companies continue to actively work on eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling to ensure stable electricity supply for residents of the affected regions.
