Main Areas of Interaction

Among the key tasks of the newly established council are the development of trade and logistics routes, organization of business missions, and establishment of direct B2B contacts. The platform will also facilitate the support of investment and infrastructure projects, as well as the development of partnerships in the fields of education, science, and finance. An important part of its activities will be the integration of economic and humanitarian aspects—from the export of agricultural products and support for local infrastructure to training African specialists and implementing social initiatives.

Support for Reforms and Experience Exchange

The UAfrica Business Council also focuses on supporting Ukraine’s security and humanitarian initiatives. The council will promote the transfer of Ukrainian experience in resilience, recovery, and security sector reform to African partners.

“The establishment of the UAfrica Business Council is a logical step in the development of our cooperation. The main task now is to translate the political dialogue into the realm of real investments and build sustainable connections through joint production projects, logistical solutions, technological partnerships, and educational programs,” emphasized Bashlyk.

Representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Science, banking sector, agricultural business, universities, and key companies in Ukraine are actively involved in the development of the platform.

In addition, a new format for training specialists for international agricultural projects covering African and Middle Eastern countries is being launched in Ukraine. This will enhance the human resource potential for implementing joint initiatives in the global market.
