Russian drones attacked the ports of Odesa region: injured and damaged infrastructure

Consequences of the night drone attack

According to operational information, enemy drones attacked the ports twice, resulting in damage to logistics and cargo storage facilities. Among the injured are employees of port enterprises who are receiving medical assistance. Rescue workers and emergency services are on site, addressing the aftermath of the shelling and surveying the damaged area.

“Russian troops again launched a massive attack on the Odesa region on the night of May 14, deploying two waves of drones. The port infrastructure was hit, resulting in injuries to people,” said the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.

Damage to port infrastructure

As a result of the two waves of drone attacks, destruction of warehouse premises, administrative buildings, and technical equipment of the ports has been recorded. Authorities urge citizens to adhere to safety rules during air alerts and not to ignore danger signals.

Currently, an assessment of the scale of the damage is underway. The regional leadership reports readiness for further coordination of rescue services’ actions to eliminate the consequences of this attack.
