Russian attack caused power outages in the Sarny district of Rivne region

As a result of the morning missile attack by the Russian Federation on the territory of Rivne region, a large-scale power outage has been recorded in the Sarny district. Energy workers are actively working to restore electricity supply for local residents.

The head of the Rivne regional military administration, Oleksandr Koval, reported that thanks to the effective work of air defense forces, enemy aerial targets were shot down. However, due to the attack, there were interruptions in electricity in the Sarny district. Power grid specialists are already working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling to restore power to the residents of the district as quickly as possible.

“Another alarming morning in Rivne region. Thanks to the work of our air defense forces, we have shot down enemy aerial targets,” wrote the head of the regional military administration.

Increase in air alerts and the results of the latest attack

According to preliminary data, there are no casualties among the population as a result of the shelling. Representatives of the regional military administration also note that in May, the number of air alerts in Rivne region significantly increased — the siren sounded 48 times, which is almost three times more than in April. In recent days, air defense forces have demonstrated high effectiveness: since the evening of June 3, 264 drones used by the enemy to attack Ukraine have been neutralized.
