Russia launched a massive attack on Dnipro: people and the Nova Poshta terminal were affected

As a result of the massive attack by Russia on the Dnipropetrovsk region, 50 strikes were recorded using drones, artillery, missiles, and aerial bombs. The shelling affected four districts of the region, including Dnipro, Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Kryvyi Rih.

Casualties and damage to infrastructure

A large fire broke out at warehouses of a retail chain in the Dnipro district, and in another part of the district, eight people were injured. All of them were hospitalized, including two men and one woman who are in serious condition. Additionally, a 38-year-old resident of Dnipro was injured.

In the Nikopol district, the district center and the communities of Pokrovsk, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrivka were shelled. Residential buildings were damaged, and four people were injured. An 89-year-old man was hospitalized, and his condition is assessed as moderate. Two women aged 47 and another 32-year-old woman will continue treatment on an outpatient basis.

In the Synelnykove district, strikes were carried out on the Mykolaiv and Pokrovsk communities, resulting in damage to a car and injuries to a 40-year-old man. His condition is assessed as moderate by doctors.

In Kryvyi Rih, Russian troops attacked the Zelenodolsk and Hrushevsk communities, damaging infrastructure facilities.

Damage to the Nova Poshta terminal and the company’s response

As a result of the attack by an enemy drone, the innovative logistics terminal of the Nova Poshta company in Dnipro was damaged. According to the company, employees were in a shelter during the shelling and were not harmed.

“Currently, an assessment of the extent of the destruction and a check on the condition of the cargo after the strike are ongoing. Police and the State Emergency Service are working at the scene. The company will compensate clients for the losses of shipments. In the near future, recipients will be contacted to clarify the details of the compensation,” the details were shared by Nova Poshta.

Rescue services reported that on June 3, the Russians attacked Dnipro twice, resulting in a large fire at the warehouses of a retail chain. During the elimination of the aftermath, the enemy carried out a repeated shelling of a logistics company located nearby. Over 100 rescuers and 40 units of State Emergency Service equipment are working at the scene.

It is worth noting that only during the night of June 2, Russian military forces used 642 means of destruction against Ukraine, hitting Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and other cities.
