Consequences of shelling in the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts

According to Hanzha, as a result of these shelling incidents, ten people were injured. In particular, in the Nikopol district, a gymnasium, a five-story residential building, several private houses, a store, and a car were damaged.

“Nine people were injured. Of these, five were hospitalized in moderate condition. The rest are receiving outpatient treatment.”

In the Kryvyi Rih district, strikes were carried out on the Hrushevska and Zelenodolsk communities. Here, one more person was injured, and there is damage to infrastructure facilities.

Assessment of the nature of attacks on civilians

Russian military forces continue to systematically use various types of weapons — strike drones, missiles, aerial bombs, and multiple launch rocket systems — to attack Ukrainian cities and civilian facilities across all regions of the country.

The Ukrainian authorities, together with international organizations, regard such strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation, as they are targeted in nature. The shelling of critically important facilities for the population’s life support, medical institutions, and other infrastructure objects that deprive people of access to electricity, water, heating, communication, and medical assistance has signs of genocidal actions.

At the same time, the leadership of Russia continues to deny the facts of deliberate shelling of civilian infrastructure, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and energy facilities in Ukraine during the full-scale war, despite numerous evidence of mass destruction and casualties among the civilian population.
