The founder of the famous Silk Road platform, Ross Ulbricht, has received one of the largest donations in his history – 300 BTC, equivalent to approximately $31.3 million at the current exchange rate, has been sent to his Bitcoin wallet. This information is confirmed by data from the analytical service Arkham Intelligence.

Ulbricht’s Pardon and Financial Status After Release
Recall that on January 21, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the pardon of Ross Ulbricht after he spent 12 years in prison. Throughout this time, Ulbricht received financial support from the community through the Free Ross portal. According to estimates by Conor Grogan, head of product at Coinbase, prior to the transfer of 300 BTC, Ulbricht had about 430 BTC remaining in his accounts.

As of today, Ross Ulbricht’s cryptocurrency portfolio is estimated at $31.38 million.
Auction of Memorabilia and Collector Interest
After his release, Ross Ulbricht listed 13 of his personal items for auction on the Scarce City platform. Among the lots are paintings he created in prison, a tracksuit, and sneakers he wore when leaving the correctional facility, three prison ID cards, a sleeping bag, a backpack, a locker lock, and a djembe musical instrument.
The greatest interest has been sparked by the prison ID card featuring a smiling portrait of the Silk Road founder, for which a bid of 5.5 BTC (approximately $574,000) was made at the time of writing. The total potential revenue from the auction could reach nearly $1.3 million, considering the current bids on all lots.
