In October 2025, the Retail Well-Being Index (RWBI) in Ukraine increased by 0.2 points compared to September, reaching 27.8 points. In comparison, last October, this figure reached a record 30.4 points, the highest value since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation. Despite challenging conditions, the retail sector in the country continues to recover and shows signs of active development.

Opening of New Retail Outlets in the Regions
A new retail complex, Retail Park Mukachevo, has opened in the city of Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region. Brands such as Sinsay, LC Waikiki, and COMFY have already opened their stores here. The first phase of the complex occupies over 8,600 square meters, while the second phase, planned for construction in 2026, will cover more than 15,500 square meters.
The international supermarket chain SPAR is also expanding its presence in Ukraine. The first Eurospar store of the new format, covering 1,314 square meters, has opened in Lutsk. The new supermarket offers customers an expanded range of products.
Scaling Up Key Market Players
The retailer Silpo continues to expand its network. Recently, the company opened a new store in Chernihiv and also renovated another retail outlet in Vasylkiv, Kyiv region.
Additionally, INTERTOP Ukraine has launched two new retail locations in Kyiv. A clothing store has opened in the Karavan Outlet shopping and entertainment center, while a store of the American footwear brand Skechers has started operating in the Pyramid shopping mall.
