New Power Outage Schedules

According to information from the company “Ukrenergo”, hourly power outage schedules will be introduced for the population, lasting from 08:00 to 21:00. There will be one to two rounds of outages in different regions of Ukraine. Additionally, separate power limitation schedules will be established for industrial enterprises, operating from 07:00 to 22:00.

“On November 8, measures to limit consumption will necessarily be applied in all regions of Ukraine,” the message states.

Reasons for Implementing Restrictions and the State of the Energy System

Ukrenergo emphasized that the decision to impose restrictions is a necessary step. The main reason is the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks from Russia, which have caused significant damage to energy facilities. Due to the constant pressure on the country’s energy infrastructure and numerous strikes on critical facilities, such temporary outages are essential for maintaining the stable operation of the power grid.

Energy workers urge Ukrainians to understand the situation, to limit electricity consumption during peak hours if possible, and to familiarize themselves in advance with the outage schedules in their region.
