Poland Supports Ukrainian Infrastructure
The President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, has signed a law allowing the continuation of funding for the subscription fees of Starlink terminals operating in Ukraine. This step aims to ensure uninterrupted communication for frontline areas and critical infrastructure facilities, including hospitals, schools, and utility services.
More than 29,000 of the total Starlink terminals in Ukraine have been provided by Polish partners. This assistance has been crucial for Ukrainian users, especially for those near the front line who constantly face disruptions in traditional communication channels.
The Importance of International Support
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine emphasized that thanks to the operation of Starlink terminals, thousands of Ukrainians, as well as healthcare institutions, educational establishments, and other essential services, maintain continuous communication even during massive attacks.
“I thank the Minister of Digitalization of Poland, Krzysztof Grabowski, and the entire Polish government for their solidarity and steadfast support for Ukraine,” added Fedorov.
Restoring and maintaining communication capabilities during wartime remains one of Ukraine’s top priorities. Poland, as a strategic partner, continues to play a vital role in ensuring access to modern communication tools for Ukrainian communities, which is especially important for the stable functioning of critical state sectors.
