The vegetable market in Ukraine is experiencing mixed price dynamics. Recent data confirms that some items have decreased in price over the past week, while others have become more expensive.

Analysts from the EastFruit project noted that the price of old potatoes has fallen from 16-25 to 15-24 hryvnias per kilogram, while new potatoes have become cheaper from 70-110 to 65-90 UAH/kg. Early carrots have also decreased in price, dropping from 80-85 to 60-70 UAH/kg.
Price Increases for Some Vegetables
However, against the backdrop of reduced supply, prices for onions have risen: they jumped from 14-18 to 20-26 UAH/kg. At the same time, cool weather has affected cucumber production volumes, leading to an increase in their price from 25-50 UAH/kg to 50-75 UAH/kg. A similar trend is observed in tomato prices, where the upper limit has risen from 95 to 105 UAH/kg, and sweet peppers have increased from 95-110 to 120-125 UAH/kg.
Price Changes for Fruits
Among fruits, changes are also noted: the price of apples is rising, reaching 50 hryvnias per kilogram, while lemons have become more expensive – from 90 to 120 UAH/kg. Oranges, on the contrary, have decreased in price, with the lower limit dropping from 95 to 65 UAH/kg. The price range for kiwis has also changed, fluctuating from 105 to 240 UAH/kg, compared to the previous week when prices were within 110-190 UAH/kg.
Overall, the vegetable market in Ukraine continues to show price dynamics, indicating changes in supply and demand that affect the financial results of agricultural producers.
