More than 164 thousand parents of Ukrainian first graders have already taken advantage of the service to open a special account on the Diia Card at PrivatBank to receive state assistance under the “School Package” program.

Popularity of the Diia Card Among Parents of First Graders
According to Dmitry Musiyenko, a member of the board of PrivatBank responsible for retail business, most parents who are enrolling their children in the first grade in 2025 are choosing PrivatBank for state support. According to forecasts, in 2025, around 270 thousand students will take their seats at school desks for the first time.
“More than half of Ukrainians who are sending first graders to school this year choose PrivatBank to receive the School Package assistance (according to forecast data, 270 thousand students will sit at the desks of first grades in 2025).”
Overall Results and Conditions for Receiving Assistance
As reported by Dmitry Musiyenko, Ukrainians have already opened 795 thousand digital multi-account Diia Cards at PrivatBank, intended for receiving state payments under various programs.
Parents of first graders can apply for a one-time cash assistance of 5,000 hryvnias through the Diia app until November 15, 2025. The funds can be received on the Diia Card by one of the parents or another legal representative of the child who has been officially enrolled in the first grade for the new school year.
