According to data from the Institute for Economic Research and Political Consulting (IERPC), the index of expected changes in business activity in Ukraine for February remained at 0.1, the same as in January. The share of enterprises planning to expand their operations has increased to 15.4% (up from 14.4% in January). Meanwhile, 5.1% of enterprises plan to reduce their activities, which is also an increase from 4.1% in the previous month. A significant portion, 79.5% of respondents, intends to maintain their current levels of work, although this is slightly lower than the January figure (81.5%).

Particularly optimistic forecasts are demonstrated by large microenterprises, where the expectation index stands at 0.23. For small enterprises, this figure is half as much — 0.11. Medium enterprises show a value of 0.08, while large enterprises have a value of 0.06, indicating a lower level of optimism compared to microenterprises.
Regional and Sectoral Features
When analyzing regional indicators, the highest expectations are held by enterprises in the Cherkasy region (1), as well as in the Transcarpathian and Ternopil regions, where the index is 0.67 each.
Regarding sectoral indicators, the highest expectations are recorded in the printing (0.5) and woodworking (0.26) industries. The lowest index is observed in machine engineering, where it equals 0.
