Famous Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova has openly talked for the first time about the reasons for the closure of the popular show ‘Adult Girls’, which she hosted for over five years alongside Masha Efrosinina. According to the artist, the final decision to end the project was made specifically because of her husband Vadim Buryakovsky’s scandalous interview.

The Impact of Vadim Buryakovsky’s Interview on the Show
During the presentation of her new project TheNogi, Polyakova shared details: it was the interview organized by Gordon’s wife Olesya Batsman that became a turning point for ‘Adult Girls’. Olya noted that her husband spoke candidly and emotionally during the conversation, which prompted the show’s closure.
“This happened at that moment, but Olesya Batsman dragged Vadik into the interview with Gordon through me. And he just exploded. He said such f**king things that today ‘Adult Girls’ closed”
At the same time, earlier on social media, neither Polyakova nor Efrosinina commented on Buryakovsky’s direct involvement in the project’s closure. In a joint statement, they noted that the main mission of the show had been accomplished, and now each of the hosts continues to develop their own projects and values their shared experience.
Details of the Scandalous Interview
In a recent interview with Dmytro Gordon, businessman Vadim Buryakovsky expressed his views on Masha Efrosinina and her family. He noted that he appreciates Masha as a TV host, but in real life, in his opinion, she is not as open. Buryakovsky stated that it was thanks to Olya’s participation in the project that Efrosinina was able to showcase herself. He also recalled certain misunderstandings in his relationship with Masha and referred to her husband Timur Khromayev as a “rich kid”. These words sparked a sharp public reaction, and Polyakova had to publicly apologize for her husband’s remarks.
