Hryvnia Exchange Rate Against Major Currencies
The official exchange rate for the US dollar is set at 41.25 hryvnias per dollar, which is 3 kopecks higher than the previous banking day. This indicates a slight depreciation of the national currency against the American dollar.
Regarding the euro, the exchange rate for September 9 is 48.38 hryvnias per euro. Compared to the previous day, the hryvnia has lost 22 kopecks against the European currency.
Situation in the Interbank Market
As of 16:00, the exchange rates in the interbank currency market of Ukraine were 41.24/41.27 UAH/USD for the dollar, and 48.38/48.41 UAH/EUR for the euro.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro is set at 48.38 UAH/euro.
Thus, the national currency of Ukraine is showing a gradual weakening against leading global currencies amid changes in domestic and external financial markets.
