Official Exchange Rate on July 21: Hryvnia Strengthens Against Dollar, Weakens Against Euro

The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates for Monday, July 21. As of the specified date, the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar is set at 41.75 hryvnias per dollar, which is 12 kopecks stronger than the previous figure.

Euro Exchange Rate and Dynamics on the Interbank Market

At the same time, the Ukrainian hryvnia has slightly weakened against the euro. The official exchange rate of the European currency is set at 48.61 hryvnias per one euro — this indicates a decrease of 16 kopecks compared to the previous figure.

The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro is set at 48.61 UAH/euro.

Meanwhile, on the interbank currency market of Ukraine by 16:00, the quotes for the hryvnia against the dollar ranged from 41.74 to 41.77 UAH per dollar. For the euro, these figures were within 48.60 to 48.62 UAH per euro.

Changes in Currency Quotes

The strengthening of the hryvnia against the dollar at the beginning of the week indicates some improvement in the position of the Ukrainian currency against the backdrop of the currency market. At the same time, the weakening against the euro reflects the influence of external market factors and the dynamics of the European currency.
