Official Exchange Rate on August 27: Hryvnia Strengthens Against Dollar and Euro

The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates for Wednesday, August 27. According to the updated figures, the hryvnia has strengthened its position against both the US dollar and the euro.

Hryvnia Exchange Rate Against Major Currencies

The official exchange rate for the US dollar is set at 41.40 hryvnias per dollar, which indicates a strengthening of the Ukrainian currency by 3 kopecks compared to the previous banking day. At the same time, the euro exchange rate has decreased to 48.27 hryvnias per euro – which is 20 kopecks less than the day before.

The hryvnia exchange rate against the euro is set at 48.27 UAH/euro.

Situation on the Interbank Market

On the interbank currency market of Ukraine, by 4:00 PM, the hryvnia quotes against the dollar fluctuated within the range of 41.42–41.45 hryvnias per dollar. For the European currency, the price was 48.28–48.30 hryvnias per euro. These figures indicate stability in the currency market and a gradual strengthening of the national currency against major world currencies.
