New Services for Disabled Individuals and Military Document Preservation in the Reserve+ App

The “Reserve+” application, developed by the Ministry of Defense, has introduced two new services that significantly expand its capabilities for citizens subject to military service.

New Features for Reserve+ Users

The updated version of “Reserve+” now includes an option to display disability information in the electronic military document. Specifically, users will be able to see their disability group and reason directly in the digital format of the document. This will optimize the processes for confirming status and obtaining relevant benefits.

Another important innovation is the preservation of the previous version of the military accounting document during its update. If a user decides to make changes or update their information, the old version of the document will remain accessible in the application, unlike previous releases where such documents could disappear. In case of increased load, a special bar will appear in the document interface indicating the estimated time for the update to complete.

Updates Simplify Military Accounting

According to Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko, the addition of new services in “Reserve+” is aimed at creating a convenient digital ecosystem for those subject to military service:

“We continue to fill Reserve+ with useful services. They create a unified ecosystem for military personnel that can meet their needs without queues and waiting. We are gradually adding new features that will help keep track of the current status of military accounting.”

The application is already actively used: over 333 thousand military personnel in Ukraine have applied for deferral from mobilization specifically through “Reserve+”. Thus, every third deferral in the country is processed using this digital solution.

Starting from autumn 2024, the “Reserve+” application will offer the possibility of obtaining a deferral for three categories of citizens: individuals with disabilities who have a pension certificate from the Pension Fund of Ukraine, students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates, as well as parents of three children under 18 years of age in a joint marriage.
