In the capital of Ukraine, the installation of new road signs aimed at improving road safety is ongoing. This decision was made by the Kyiv City State Administration in response to the need to warn drivers about areas with an increased risk of road traffic accidents (RTAs). In particular, signs 1.41 “Accident Concentration Area” will appear on several streets in the capital. These signs will be accompanied by informational plaques explaining the type of danger that drivers may encounter, such as the possibility of a collision or hitting a pedestrian.
