A new phase of applications for financial assistance of $1000 (equivalent to 41,555 UAH) under the Direct Financial Help program has begun in Ukraine. This initiative aims to support families affected by the war, including internally displaced persons, low-income individuals, people with disabilities, families with children, and residents of frontline regions where hostilities are ongoing.

Who Can Receive Financial Assistance
Under the program, each accepted application allows for a one-time payment of $1000, which will be credited directly to the applicant’s bank account. Priority is given to Ukrainians who are in the most difficult life circumstances and need support to meet basic needs—food, hygiene, housing payments, clothing, or fuel.
Applications can be submitted by:
- citizens affected by attacks from May 1, 2025, to the present;
- residents of frontline regions or individuals forcibly displaced from the Kherson, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk regions, or the Nikopol district;
- internally displaced persons who are in a difficult financial situation;
- residents of areas where active hostilities are currently taking place.
Special attention is given to families with children, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and low-income citizens.
Application Submission and Fund Receipt Procedure
To participate in the program, it is necessary to:
- fill out an online application form on the official initiative website;
- provide documents confirming the applicant’s status (IDP certificate, identification document, housing damage certificates, etc.);
- carefully enter all information in the appropriate fields of the application form—errors may lead to denial.
After reviewing the application and verifying the provided documents, a decision regarding the payment is made individually. Funds are transferred directly to the specified bank account. The program’s budget is limited, so the acceptance of applications will close once the established quota is reached. Therefore, the organizers urge applicants not to delay and to submit their applications as soon as possible.
