The Ukrainian government has implemented new digital services on the “Diia” portal aimed at supporting veterans in their transition to civilian life. From now on, users can obtain an electronic veteran’s certificate and check their electronic file in the veterans’ registry in just a few minutes.

Automatic Issuance of the e-Veteran Certificate
The digital document — e-Veteran Certificate — is created automatically based on the entry in the Unified State Register of War Veterans. Data is entered into the registry directly by military units. This allows veterans to avoid waiting for the production of a paper certificate or having to submit their data to the registries themselves. Services and benefits on the “Diia” portal become available immediately after the official granting of veteran status.
Access to the Electronic File and New Opportunities
Another innovation is the ability to view the digital file from the veterans’ registry in the “Veteran Pro” section of the “Diia” portal. Currently, this service allows users to review their personal data to verify its accuracy. In the future, the functionality will be expanded: if an error is found in the file, the user will be able to make changes independently through the service.
“Online services for veterans are just part of the government’s initiatives. Among the priority tasks is to provide veterans with the necessary conditions for quick rehabilitation and further integration into civilian life,” emphasized the head of the government.
Additionally, to support veterans who have undergone amputations, free practical guides were previously developed on the “Diia.Education” platform. These guides are aimed not only at the veterans themselves but also at their relatives, medical professionals, and employers who assist in adapting to peaceful life.
It is worth noting that in March, the Ukrainian government approved a decision to implement stationary care for veterans and veteran women with serious self-care limitations.
