Epstein’s Connections to Russian Intelligence
An analysis of the documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice revealed that Putin’s name appears in the materials 1,056 times, while Moscow is mentioned over 9,600 times. Intelligence experts believe that Epstein became involved in espionage activities through contacts with Robert Maxwell—the father of Ghislaine Maxwell, who was his accomplice and is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
Reports suggest that Epstein may have organized one of the largest sexual blackmail operations (honeytrap) in the world on behalf of the KGB, recruiting women to compromise prominent individuals. His long-standing connections with Russian organized crime are also highlighted, which may have pressured the billionaire, allowing him to bring young women from Russia.
“Epstein’s correspondence notably mentions his meeting with Putin in 2011. Another meeting was planned for 2014, but it was canceled after the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight by Russian forces over Ukraine, resulting in the deaths of 298 people.”
Among other things, the materials mention that Epstein claimed he could provide the Kremlin with important information about then-President Donald Trump ahead of the Helsinki summit in 2018.
