In 2025, the vast majority of citizens in Ukraine continue to financially support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the results of the sociological survey “Problems of Social Cohesion in Ukraine,” conducted by Rating Group in July, 83% of Ukrainians provided funds to assist the army over the past year.

Financial and Non-Financial Support for the Armed Forces
The survey results showed that 31% of respondents regularly donate to support the Armed Forces, 39% do so occasionally, and 13% do so rarely. At the same time, only 16% of those surveyed stated that they had never transferred funds for military needs.
“As the survey data indicates, younger and wealthier Ukrainians tend to support the Armed Forces financially somewhat more frequently.”
In addition to material assistance, 58% of survey participants indicated that they also provided non-financial support to the Ukrainian army. Among them, 15% do this on a regular basis.
Support for Refugees and Displaced Persons
Support is not limited to helping the military. According to the survey, 70% of respondents have assisted refugees, displaced persons, and people with disabilities, with 12% of them doing so consistently.
At the same time, according to a separate study by DOU, the average monthly donations from representatives of the IT sector decreased over the year from $188 to $155. Relative figures also declined: while last year IT professionals spent 7% of their income on donations, this year that figure stands at 5%.
