A specialized marketplace for the military is set to launch in Ukraine soon, aimed at significantly speeding up and simplifying the process of supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

DOT-Chain Defence: A New System for the Military
According to the minister, a new weapons marketplace called DOT-Chain Defence is being implemented in collaboration with the Defense Procurement Agency and the State Rear Operations Operator (DOT). It will serve as a platform that allows military units to independently select and order the necessary weapons, taking into account their specific tasks. Participants will receive complete information about each order: what, from whom, and when it will be delivered.
“Together with the Defense Procurement Agency and DOT – the State Rear Operations Operator, we are implementing DOT-Chain Defence – a weapons marketplace that fundamentally changes the approach to supply,” he noted.
Marketplace Capabilities and Prospects
The official launch of DOT-Chain Defence is scheduled for July. At that time, the first manufacturers and military units will join the platform. In the initial phase, the marketplace will focus on the sale of FPV drones, but in the future, its functionality will expand to include other types of unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare systems, and robotic systems.
The minister emphasized that the implemented system will allow for more accurate procurement planning, reduce bureaucratic procedures, and ensure timely deliveries. DOT-Chain Defence is based on the DOT-Chain platform, which has already successfully reduced the food supply cycle by four times and transitioned most processes to a digital format.
The new initiative aims to scale digital solutions that have already proven effective in rear support to the area of supplying weapons and specialized equipment for the front lines.
