The Ukrainian labor market is experiencing a severe shortage of personnel in several sectors, prompting employers to actively recruit specialists without work experience. Today, they are not only willing to hire newcomers but also invest in their training, offering competitive salaries. High Salaries for Beginners: Which Professions Are in Demand
Among employers who openly declare their readiness to pay from 45,000 to 100,000 UAH are supermarket chains, construction companies, and auto services. For example, one supermarket chain is looking for a car or motorcycle courier with a salary of 45,000–60,000 UAH. The main requirements include knowledge of traffic rules and possession of a category B driver’s license (for driving a car).
Construction companies offer assemblers of aluminum and plastic structures salaries ranging from 30,000 to 55,000 UAH. Candidates need to be able to use power tools and have a driver’s license.
Auto services are opening vacancies for auto mechanics and auto locksmiths with salaries from 35,000 to 100,000 UAH. Required skills include knowledge of the principles of operation of the main systems of modern cars, the ability to work with equipment, special tools, and diagnostic scanners, as well as the ability to articulate thoughts clearly.

Nataliya Slynko, founder and CEO of the consulting company Talent Match, noted that even in the fourth year of full-scale war in Ukraine, there are sectors where one can earn well without experience—especially in areas of intellectual labor.
“There will be growth there because the added value of the final product is significantly higher. Moreover, it can be increased—not through production costs, but through the value of the product, what people buy it for,” she explained.
Olena Zhurochkina, founder of a recruiting agency, emphasizes that the oil and gas industry, fields of new technologies, particularly radio engineering, as well as medicine, cosmetology, and psychology remain attractive.
