Industrial Park ‘NEW SYNERGY’ Added to the Register of Industrial Parks

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the decision to include the industrial park ‘NEW SYNERGY’ in the Register of industrial parks of Ukraine.

Characteristics and Prospects of the New Industrial Park

The industrial park ‘NEW SYNERGY’ will operate for 30 years in the territory of the Novoushytska village territorial community in the Kamianets-Podilskyi district of the Khmelnytskyi region. The initiator of its creation is the Novoushytska village council. The park covers an area of 11 hectares and is designed for the placement of enterprises in various sectors.

It is expected that around 550 new jobs will be created in the processing industry due to the launch of this facility. The main areas of activity for the park will include:

  • processing of agricultural products;
  • food production;
  • development of warehousing;
  • manufacturing of machinery and equipment for the agricultural and forestry sectors;
  • processing and canning of fruits and vegetables;
  • scientific and technical activities and laboratory research, including independent quality verification of raw materials and finished products;
  • other related areas, according to the needs of the community.

Investment Potential and Funding

According to the park’s development concept, funding is expected to come from the own funds of the managing company, participants of the industrial park, the State Regional Development Fund, investors, as well as with the participation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, international technical assistance, and other legally permitted sources.

The total area of the industrial park is 11 hectares. The establishment of ‘NEW SYNERGY’ will provide approximately 550 new jobs in the processing industry, reports the Ministry of Economy.

Currently, there are already 110 facilities registered in the Register of industrial parks in Ukraine, and their number is constantly increasing, creating conditions for the development of the regional economy and attracting investments.
