The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates for Wednesday, October 8. According to the updated data, the hryvnia has strengthened against both the US dollar and the euro.

Official Exchange Rates from NBU
As of October 8, 2025, the official exchange rate for the dollar is set at 41.32 hryvnias per unit of American currency. This means that the hryvnia has strengthened by 2 kopecks compared to the previous banking day.
Regarding the euro, the National Bank has set the rate at 48.17 hryvnias per euro. The Ukrainian currency has also improved its position against the European currency: the hryvnia has gained 10 kopecks.
Situation on the Interbank Market
As of 16:00, the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar on the interbank currency market was 41.32/41.35 hryvnias per dollar. The euro was quoted at 48.19/48.21 hryvnias per euro.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro is set at 48.17 UAH/euro.
These changes indicate a stabilization of the national currency against the backdrop of the current economic situation in Ukraine.
