Growing Demand for Ukrainian Expertise in Unmanned Technology
As the head of state noted, requests are coming from countries neighboring Iran, as well as from European nations and America. Ukrainian developments and experience in drone defense, electronic warfare systems (EW), and personnel training are generating increased interest among partners worldwide.
“There is a clear interest in Ukrainian experience in protecting lives, relevant interceptors, EW systems, and training. Ukraine is ready to respond positively to the requests of those who help us protect the lives of Ukrainians and the independence of Ukraine. We have already responded to some requests with specific solutions and concrete support,” the head of state indicated, without providing further details.
Expanding International Cooperation and Support for the Middle East
It is known that Ukraine has already sent its experts in unmanned technology to assist in protecting American military bases in Jordan. According to the president, Ukrainian specialists will also soon arrive in the Middle East to support countries in the region in repelling attacks using Iranian drones.
Ukraine is negotiating to provide practical assistance and share experience with countries interested in strengthening their counter-drone capabilities. Agreements have already been reached for Ukrainian specialists to work directly on-site in Middle Eastern countries.
Additionally, according to international media reports, the United States and an unnamed Persian Gulf state are considering the purchase of Ukrainian interceptor drones to counter Iranian “Shaheds.” At the same time, Ukraine is offering partner countries in the Middle East mutually beneficial cooperation in the form of a “quiet exchange”: providing assistance in combating drones in exchange for missile supplies for air defense.
